- DECLARATION — I, Henry Peele, of Launceston, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, two hundred and sixty-two in number, marked I.X. on board of the vessel Mariposa, H. Peele, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me, at Lyttelton, this 1st day of November, 1863.

- DECLARATION — We, J. T. Peacock and Co., of Lyttelton and Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, two hundred in number, on board of the vessel Star of the South, Charles Hodge, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and we make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me, at Lyttelton, this 3rd day of November, 1863.

Hill, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, eighty-two in number, marked B, on board of the vessel Fanny Merriman, Vandervord, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me, at Port Lyttelton, this 28th day of November, 1863.

Weld, of Lyttelton, do hereby declare that the sheep, twelve in number, on board the vessel Pekin, Griffiths, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
