- DECLARATION.—I, John Frazer, of the Wairau, Province of Nelson, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2,060 in number, marked ∨, now being depastured by me at the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

† DECLARATION.—I, Robert Boyst, of Stoneyhurst, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the sheep in my charge, and my sheep, branded (C), 3,000 in number, now being at Stoneyhurst, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

O’Neal, for Smith, Raikes, and Co., of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 4 in number, now being at Manchester-street, Christchurch, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
