HIS Honor the Superintendent, in pursuance of certain powers vested in him by “The Empowering Ordinance,” Sess. II., No. 2,” directs it to be notified that the Footpaths in the City of Christchurch hereinafter described, having been well and sufficiently made and completed for the use and accommodation of foot passengers, according to the provisions of “The Footpath Ordinance, Sess. VII., No. 12,” are hereby declared to be public footpaths, and from and after the date hereof shall be deemed and taken accordingly to be public footpaths within the meaning of the said Ordinance.
The said footpaths are as follows:—
Montreal Street, east side, from St. Asaph Street to South Belt.
Montreal Street, west side, from St. Asaph Street to South Belt.
Montreal Street, east side, from Armagh Street round east side Cranmer Square to the Papanui Road.
Montreal Street, west side, from Armagh Street round east side Cranmer Square to the Papanui Road.
Oxford Terrace, north side, from Manchester Street to Kilmore Street.
Oxford Terrace, south side, from Manchester Street to Kilmore Street.
East Town Belt, east side, from South Belt to Hereford Street.
East Town Belt, west side, from South Belt to Hereford Street.
Ferry Road, north side, from Madras Street to East Belt.
Ferry Road, south side, from Madras Street to East Belt.
Durham Street, east side, from Oxford Terrace to Tuam Street.
