has resigned his seat in the Provincial Council for the district of Mandeville.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Land Office, Christchurch,
1st April, 1863.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board will sit at the Land Office, Christchurch, on Friday, the 1st day of May next, at 10 a.m.,

to receive Pasturage License Fees under the Land Regulations of 1st April, 1856.

By Clause 51 of the Amended Land Regulations, Pasturage License Fees may be paid at any sitting of the Board between the 20th of April and the 1st of May.

Licensees of Runs in the Upper Ashley and Ashburton Districts, whose Runs were allotted by the Board in January and February last, will be required to pay towards the cost of the survey of their Runs at the rate of 20s. per thousand acres on the 1st May next.
