DECLARATION
I, Walter Shrimpton, of Sandford Downs, Province of Nelson, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 3200 in number, marked J F, now being depastured by me on the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the sazno to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR
I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 3200 sheep, branded J F, the property of Walter Shrimpton, now being depastured on the North Bank of the Hurunui, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.
Given under my hand, at Hasties, this 24th day of February, 1862.
