IT is hereby notified that the Speaker of the Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, has reported that, in pursuance of the "Provincial Audit Act, 1861," he has duly appointed

of Christchurch, who was nominated by the Superintendent and the Provincial Council of Canterbury to the office of Auditor of Public Accounts of that Province, to be such Auditor.
