DECLARATION.—I, Robert Boys, of Stonyhurst, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, branded Ⓞ, being 3300 in number, now being at Stonyhurst, have not within two months last past been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor within two months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me, at Stonyhurst, this 4th day of January, 1862.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 3300 sheep, branded Ⓞ, the property of Robert Boyd, now being depastured at Stonyhurst, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand, at Stonyhurst, this 4th day of January, 1862.

† DECLARATION.—I, John Scott Caverhill, of Hawkswood, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 4700 in number, marked J S C, now being depastured on the North Bank of the Hurunui, in the Nelson Province, have not within three months last past been subject to any dressing for the cure of scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
