HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified, that in pursuance of the powers vested in him by the “Canterbury Association Ordinance, Session IV., No. 6.” he has, by warrant under his hand, bearing date the 5th day of April, 1862, appointed the Offices of the Oriental Banking Corporation, Threadneedle Street, London, to be the place where the Debentures issued under the said Ordinance shall be payable, on or at such times as may be lawful by the said Ordinance before the 1st day of July, 1865.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership between the undersigned RICHARD WALLIS and HENRY DRAPER, in the trade or business of Butchers, carried on in Oxford Terrace West, in Christchurch, under the firm or style of “Wallis and Draper,” was this day dissolved by mutual consent; and in future the business will be carried on by the said RICHARD WALLIS, on his separate account, and who will pay and receive all debts owing from and to the said partnership in the regular course of trade.

TO SURVEYORS.

TENDERS are invited for a Trigonometrical and Topographical Survey of the Country, on the sea coast between the Rivers Rakaia and Rangitata. A specification may be seen on application to the Chief Surveyor, at the Land Office, Christchurch.
Sealed tenders, endorsed “Tender for Survey,” to be forwarded to the Provincial Secretary by Noon, on Saturday, the 28th June, 1862.
The Provincial Government will not necessarily accept the lowest or any tender.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified for public information that, in pursuance of the power vested in him by clause 21 of the Waste Lands Regulations, now in force within the Province of Canterbury, he has made the following Reserves of Land, temporarily, for the preservation of timber thereon:
No. 220, in red.—250 acres in the main valley of the Upper Puaho stream, being the west side of the stream, and the railway or tramway reserve, being west of and immediately opposite reserve No. 222 (as surveyed).
No. 221, in red.—250 acres in the main valley of the Upper Puaho stream, being the west side of the stream, and the railway or tramway reserve being north of and adjoining reserve No. 220, and north-west of reserve No. 222 (as surveyed).
No. 222, in red.—250 acres in the Puaho Valley of the Little River, on the east side of the stream and road and tramway reserve, immediately opposite reserves 220 and 221.

LYTTELTON JETTY.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Christchurch, 28th May, 1862.
THE Provincial Government is prepared to receive Tenders for Leasing the Lyttelton Jetty for a term of twelve months, commencing on the 1st day of June next, according to conditions which may be seen on application at the Provincial Secretary’s Office, in Christchurch; and at the Wharfinger’s Office, in Lyttelton.
Parties tendering must provide two approved securities for the due fulfilment of the conditions of the lease.
No tender will be received by the Government after the 16th day of June next.
