- DECLARATION.—I, Thomas Condie, of Ahuriri, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, belonging to Mr. McLean, being about 1,500 in number, on board of the vessel, Margaretha Roesener, Christian Eggers, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past been subject to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with the scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 17th day of March, 1861. JAMES RULE, Inspector of Sheep.
† DECLARATION.—I, James Crisp, of Melbourne, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 1,600 in number, marked P, now being on board the vessel Prince Alfred, James Bowden, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said province, have not within three months last past been subject to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
