Rangiora, and numbered 131 in red on
the maps in the Land Office, Christ-
church, for a Church and School.

Five acres, more or less, at Rangiora,
situate at the back of rural section 917,
near trig. pole M. 29, and numbered
124 in red on the maps in the Land
Office, Christchurch, for a Cemetery
in connection with the Church of Eng-
land.

Ten acres, situate at Rangiora, north
of and adjoining rural section 1197,
having 10 chains frontage on a road
leading to the Ashley and back easterly
adjoining section 1197 ten chains, and
numbered 132 in red on the maps in
the Land Office, Christchurch, for pur-
poses of public recreation.

One rood and thirty perches, situate
in the town of Akaroa, bounded on the
north by Brittan-street, on the south
by rural section 200, on the east by
Pompallier-street, on the west by La-
vaud-street, and numbered 138 in red
on the map of the town of Akaroa, for
a Church and School in connection
with the Free Church of Scotland.

Two acres, situate in Akaroa, in the
fork formed by South-street and the
north-west of rural section
776, and numbered 139 in red on the
map of Akaroa, for a cemetery in con-
nection with the Free Church of Scot-
land.

Six hundred and forty acres, situate
near Arowenua Bush, on the northern
bank of the Tumukaha, bounded on
the east by a line through trig. pole 7,
extending easterly towards the sea coast
about one mile, back northerly on the
average one mile, and numbered 141 in
red on the maps in the Land Office,
Christchurch, for a township.

One rood, more or less, being a spit
or tongue of land running out into the
sea, opposite rural section 207, in
Pigeon-Bay, and numbered 140 in red
on the map in the Land Office, Christ-
church, for ship-building purposes.

Six hundred and forty acres on the
northern bank of the Wantangi, com-
mencing at a point about eleven miles
from the sea (nearly opposite the
Maori Kaika, on the Otago side), ex-
tending down the river easterly about
two miles, and back northerly about
half-a-mile, and numbered 134 in red
on the maps in the Land Office, Christ-
church, for a township.

One hundred acres on the northern
bank of the Rangitata, commencing
opposite trig. pole 21, and extending
down the bank of the river between
the top of the terrace and edge of the
river to the extent of 100 acres, and
numbered 135 in red on the maps in
the Land Office, Christchurch, for a
Ferry and House of Accommodation.

One hundred acres on the southern
bank of the Rangitata, opposite trig.
pole 21, extending down the bank of
the river about 40 chains, and back
southerly 25 chains, and numbered
136 in red on the map in the Land
Office, Christchurch, for a Ferry.

One hundred and sixty acres, situate
on the northern bank of the river Ash-
burton, at the fork, about ten miles
from the sea, in a direct line, having
40 chains frontage to the river, and
extending back northerly 40 chains,
and numbered 137 in red on the maps
in the Land Office, Christchurch, for
a Ferry and House of Accommodation.

Ten acres on the South or Springs'-
road, having 10 chains frontage to the
road, and extending back in a rectan-
gular block 10 chains, adjoining sec-
tion 275, and numbered 133 in red on
the maps in the Land Office, Christ-
church.

REGULATIONS
TO BE OBSERVED BY THE
Immigrants occupying the Immi-
gration Barracks.

  1. Accommodation in the Barracks
    will be afforded to Immigrants, newly
    arrived for one week, after landing, and
    no longer.

  2. No person shall be allowed to
    enter the Barracks except by an order
    from the Immigration Officer.

  3. No person shall occupy any room
    except that named in the admission
    order of the Immigration Officer.

  4. Every room must be swept daily
    by the persons occupying it, before 9
    o'clock A.M., and after 5 P.M., and
    must be thoroughly cleaned on Wed-
    nesday and Saturday.
