HIS Honor the Superintendent directs the following notification to be published for general information :β€”

RICHARD PACKER,

Provincial Secretary.

I, JAMES EDWARD FITZ GERALD, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in virtue of the powers vested in me by the 43rd clause of the Waste Lands' Regulations now in force within the said Province, do hereby reserve from sale until the days undermentioned respectively, the portions of land hereinafter described, that is to say,β€”

Twenty-three acres situate in Pigeon Bay, Banks' Peninsula, bounded on the north by the road bounding the south boundary of rural section 441, and on the west by the Akaroa and Pigeon-bay Road, subject to a road, if required, up the valley south-easterly, to be reserved until the 28th day of November next.

The whole of such land, or such part thereof as the Waste Lands' Board shall adjudge, to be granted to William

Crouch, by way of payment for work done in accordance with a contract this day approved by me for the construction of a portion of the road from Robinson's-bay, Akaroa, to Okain's Bay.

Twenty-two acres, situate in Lave-rick's-bay, Banks' Peninsula, fronting on the sea beach, bounded on the west by a line at right angles to the beach, from the point where the creek runs into the sea, to be reserved until the 28th day of November next.

The whole of such land or such part thereof as the Waste Lands' Board shall adjudge, to be granted to William Webb, by way of payment for work done in accordance with a contract this day approved by me for the construction of a portion of the road from Robinson's Bay, Akaroa, to Okain's Bay.

Twenty Acres, situate at Akaroa, Banks' Peninsula, south of the road on the southern boundary line of Section 332, in Duvauchelle's Bay, fronting the road or beach Reserve five chains, subject to pre-emptive right No. 334, to be reserved until the 15th day of June instant.
