HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs the following appointments to be notified for public information.

MR. WILLIAM HORTON REVELL,
to be Sub-Inspector of Police and Clerk
to the Resident Magistrate's Court, at
Kaiapoi.

MR. JOHN MACAULAY O'NEILL,
to be Sub-Inspector of Police at Christ-
church. The above appointments to bear
date from the 1st April, 1855.
