of Akaroa, to be Provincial Sub-Treasurer for the district of Akaroa; the appointment to date from the 1st of October, 1853.

I HEREBY certify that Charles Dudley has this day produced before me his medical Diploma from the Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, and has thereby proved himself to be qualified as a Medical Practitioner under the Ordinance of the Provincial Council of New Munster, Session I. No. 2, passed the 18th of May, 1849, entitled “An Ordinance to define the Qualification, and to provide for the remuneration in certain cases of Medical Practitioners.”

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified, that he will attend at the Government Offices at Lyttelton, for the transaction of public business, every Tuesday, between the hours of eleven and three o’clock, until further notice.

His Honor further directs it to be notified, that the Provincial Treasury will in future lie open for payments at the Government Offices, Lyttelton, every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, between the hours of eleven and three o’clock; and at the Superintendent’s Office at Christchurch, every Thursday, between the hours of twelve and three o’clock, until further notice.
