NOTICE UNDER "THE TIMBER FLOATING ACT, 1873."

TO the Owners and Occupiers of Allotments Numbers 16, 39, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 60, 67, 68, 69, 71, 77, and 78, of the Parish of PAREMOREMO, in the County of Eden, Province of Auckland :

And to the Owners and Occupiers of Allotments Numbers 189, 190, 191, 192, 194, 228, 264, 265, 266, 267, 268, 269, 270, 271, 278, 279, 280, 281, 282, 283, and 285, of the Parish of PUKEATUA, in the County and Province aforesaid :

NOTICE is hereby given to all Owners and Occupiers of land on the Banks of the RANGITOPUNI River and its Tributaries, situate in the Parishes of PAREMOREMO and PUKEATUA, County of Eden, Province of Auckland, that an application has been made by MR. JOHN WALSH, of Rangitopuni,

under "The Timber Floating Act, 1873," for a License to use the said River and its Tributaries by floating Timber therein :

BENJAMIN MACLEAN, ESQ., J.P.,

to be Inspector of Lunatic Asylums, under "The Lunatics Act, 1868," for the Province of Auckland, in the place of H. D. Morpeth, Esq., J.P.

This appointment to date from the 1st instant.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Assessment List of the WEITI Highway Board has been finally settled. The Collector, Mr. Elon Bond, has received instructions to receive all rates due, either at his house or on calling for them, on or before the 10th day of April, after which date proceedings will be taken for the recovery of same.
