PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 30th October, 1876.

In pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughter-house Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that an application has been made to the Superintendent by

Mr. George Dalziel,
of Shortland, for a Private Slaughter-house License for his premises situated on the southern side of the Kauaeranga Creek, and known as Block Te Ranga-piri, No. 1669.

Objections against the granting of such License must be lodged within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.

It is hereby notified that the Chairman of the First Meeting of Ratepayers of the Lower Mahurangi Highway District has, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1874,” reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons elected as Members of the District Board for the said District, namely:—

William Pollock Moat,
Thomas Scott,
John Sullivan,
Daniel Sullivan.

It is hereby notified that the Chairman of the Lake District Board, under “The Highways Act, 1874,” has reported in writing to the Superintendent the undermentioned persons duly elected Members of that Board, to supply vacancies:—

Lake — Benjamin Menary, and Michael Shea, vice Peter W. Melling and James A. Sheriff, resigned.

It is hereby notified that the Chairman of the Lower Mahurangi District Board under “The Highways Act, 1874,” has reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons elected or appointed as Fence Viewers for those Districts respectively, in accordance with the provisions of “The Fencing Act, 1855, Amendment Act, 1874,” namely:—

Lower Mahurangi: — John Carron, and Govan Jamieson.
Lake: — George F. Hill and Michael Macdonald, in lieu of William Paul Davies and Samuel Willetts, whose names were previously reported in error.
