PROCLAMATION.
By His Honour Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
BY virtue of the powers and authority vested in me as Superintendent by the nineteenth section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1874," and upon the recommendation of the Auckland Provincial Council, made in conformity thereto, I do hereby proclaim and declare that I have made the following Reserves, and dedicated the same to the public purposes respectively hereunder set forth, namely:

Parish of Titirangi, County of Eden:
All that piece or parcel of land, containing 25 acres and 3 roods, more or less, being allotment No. 30.
Site of the Provincial Lunatic Asylum.
Parish of Waitemata, County of Eden:
All that piece or parcel of land, containing 21 acres, more or less, and being allotment No. 105 of the Suburbs of Auckland.
Site of Auckland Gaol.
Parish of Takapuna, County of Eden:
All that piece or parcel of land in the Province of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, and being the southern portion of allotment No. 12A of section No. 2.
Residence site for the Pilot and Boatmen of the Auckland Harbour.
Parish of Mahurangi, County of Marsden:
All that piece or parcel of land, containing 10 acres, more or less, being allotment No. 177.
Educational purposes.
Town of Gisborne, Poverty Bay:
All that piece of land situated at Turanganui in the District of Poverty Bay, County of Stafford, and being allotment No. 375 of the Township of Gisborne, containing 1 rood and 31 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the Taruheru River; towards the south-west by Palmerston-street; and towards the north-west by Bright-street.
Improvement and benefit of the Township of Gisborne.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1876.
