PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour SIR GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1874,” I do hereby proclaim and declare that all that parcel of land described in the Schedule hereunder shall be open for bona fide occupation under the provisions of the “Homestead System” of the said Act, on and after Monday, the 6th day of November, 1876.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1876.

SCHEDULE.

Hoteo Block, Parish of Tauhoa, County of Marsden, 120 acres of first-class land, situated between the selections of Messrs. Witheford and Welsh.

Application for the above land must be made to Mr. F. J. Utting, Land Surveyor, Port Albert, with whom a plan of the said Block has been lodged for public inspection.


PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that an application has been made to the Superintendent by MR. CHARLES MILLS, of Coromandel, for a Private Slaughterhouse License for his premises, being land held under Miners’ Right, and situated near the Kapanga Mine, Driving Creek, Upper Township, Coromandel.

Objections against the granting of such license must be lodged within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that an application has been made to the Superintendent by MR. JOHN BUCKLAND, of Coromandel, for a Private Slaughterhouse License for his premises, situate on the block of land being Lot 6, known as part of Pita Tauroa’s property, in the Tiki Highway District, containing twenty-five acres.

Objections against the granting of such license must be lodged within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.

IT is hereby notified that the several Chairmen of the afternamed District Boards under “The Highways Act, 1874,” have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons, duly elected as OFFICERS and MEMBERS of those Boards respectively to supply vacancies:—

CAMBRIDGE:—George E. Clark to be Member, and James Runciman to be Chairman, vice J. H. Smith, resigned.

CAMBRIDGE NORTH TOWNSHIP:—John Miller to be Member, vice Charles Tuck, resigned.
