TAUPIRI EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Commencing at the south-western angle of lot 56 of the Parish of Taupiri, bounded towards the north by the southern boundary of said lot 56 and by a line from the south-eastern angle of said lot to the south-western angle of lot 450 of said parish; towards the north-east by south-western boundary of last named lot, thence crossing the Mangawara river and by the north-eastern boundaries of lots 175 and 176, thence by a line from the north-eastern angle of last-named lot to the north-western angle of lot 70, thence by the north-eastern boundaries of lots 70, 69, 68, 67, and 71, all of said parish, thence by part of the southern boundary of last-named lot, and thence by the road which forms the eastern boundaries of lots 91A, 91, 88, 87, and 86 of said parish to the Komakorau river; towards the south by the Komakorau river from last-named lot to lot 219 of the Parish of Komakoran; towards the south-east by the south-eastern boundary of last-named lot and by the same produced to lot 215 of the said parish, thence by part of the northern boundary of last-named lot, and thence by part of the eastern boundary of said lot to the road that intersects the same, thence by a line to the eastern angle of the Hopu Hopu School Reserve; towards the south by the northern boundary of the Hopu Hopu School Reserve aforesaid to the Waikato river, and towards the west by the Waikato river from the north-western angle of said Reserve to the south-western angle of lot 56 of the Parish of Taupiri, the place of commencement.

Meeting to Elect a Committee will be held at Mr. Lovell’s store, Taupiri, on Monday, the 14th day of August, 1876, at 7 p.m.

IN accordance with the fourteenth section of “The Education Act, 1872,” it is hereby notified that the boundaries of the following District, as described in Gazette, No. 11, of 1873, have been amended by the Board of Education, as follows.

Hamilton East Educational District.

Amended Boundaries.

Comprising all those lands situate within the boundaries of the Kirikiriroa and Hamilton East Township Highway Districts, as proclaimed in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 80, dated the 15th September, 1871. Excepting all that portion of the Parish of Komakoran, bounded towards the north by the Komakorau river from the Waikato river to the north-eastern angle of lot 219 of said Parish; towards the east by the eastern boundary of said lot and by said boundary produced to lot 215 of said Parish, thence by part of the northern boundary of said lot, thence by part of the eastern boundary of said lot to the road intersecting the said lot, thence by a line to the eastern angle of the Hopu Hopu School Reserve; towards the south by the northern boundary of said Reserve to the Waikato river; and towards the west by the Waikato river from Reserve aforesaid to the mouth of the Komakorau river.
