UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the seventh section of "The Highways Act, 1874," I do hereby alter and amend the boundaries of the Rangiaohia Highway District, as hereunder set forth.
Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 4th day of July, 1876.

THE RANGIAOHIA HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
Amended Boundaries.
As described in Gazette, No. 99, 31st December, 1869, folio 1804, with the addition of the following words:—"Excepting all lands and roads comprised within the boundaries of the Town of Kihikihi hereinafter described."
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the seventh section of "The Highways Act, 1874," I do hereby notify that, from and after the date hereof, all that portion of the Province of Auckland hereunder described, shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name of
The Town of Kihikihi Highway District
All that block of land commencing at the southernmost angle of allotment No. 14 of the Parish of Puniu. Bounded towards the north by the centre of the road which forms part of the southern boundaries of allotments Nos. 14 and 15 of the Parish of Puniu; towards the east by the centre of the road which forms part of the western boundary of allotment No. 15 of the Parish of Puniu aforesaid, and part of the northern and western boundaries of allotment No. 343; towards the south by the centre of the road which forms part of the northern boundary of allotment No. 342 and the northern and eastern boundaries of allotment No. 84 to a line being the production in a northerly direction of the eastern boundary of allotment No. 345 of the Parish of Puniu aforesaid, thence by said line and by the eastern and southern boundaries of allotment No. 345 aforesaid and by said southern boundary produced to the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundary of allotment No. 84 aforesaid, thence by the centre of said road and by the centre of the road which forms the northern boundary of allotment No. 74, and towards the west by the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundary of allotment No. 341, part of the southern boundary and the whole of the eastern boundary of allotment No. 69, to the southernmost angle of allotment No. 14, all of the Parish of Puniu first mentioned, the place of commencement.

In pursuance of "The Highways Act, 1874," I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the
Town of Kihikihi Highway District;
and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at the Kihikihi School House, on Saturday, the 22nd July instant, at two o’clock in the afternoon, and Mr. James Farrell to be Chairman of such Meeting.

commencing at the northernmost angle of the Marunga block: Bounded towards the north by the north-eastern boundary of the Marunga block, part of the western and the northern boundaries of the Mangabeia No. 2 block to the Uawa river, thence northerly by the Uawa river aforesaid to the northern boundary of the Anaura block, and thence by the western boundary of the Anaura block aforesaid to high-water mark of the sea; towards the east by high-water mark of the sea from the point last described to the south-easternmost point of the Kaiti block; towards the south by high-water mark of the sea from the point last named to the centre of the Turanganui and Taruheru rivers to a line being the production in a south-westerly direction of the north-western boundary of the Whataupoko block; and towards the west by the line aforesaid by the north-western and northern boundaries of the Whataupoko block.
