PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By His Honour Sir George Grey,
Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Under and in pursuance of the powers and authority in me vested by "The Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866," I do hereby appoint that, for the purposes of the said Act, the limits of the undermentioned Districts, to which the said Act shall from and after this notification apply, shall be those set opposite their respective names in the Schedule hereunder contained.

Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1876.

SCHEDULE.

  1. The Epsom Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 37, dated 13th July, 1875, pages 388-389.

  2. The Mount Albert Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 34, dated 29th June, 1875, page 372.

  3. The Mount Eden Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 37, dated 13th July, 1875, page 388.

  4. The One Tree Hill Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 26, dated 30th May, 1870, page 207.

  5. The Point Chevalier Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 17, dated 16th July, 1874, pages 104-105.

  6. The Remuera Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 24, dated 14th June, 1876, page 254.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

The Epsom District Board,
The Mount Albert District Board,
The Mount Eden District Board,
The One Tree Hill District Board,
The Point Chevalier District Board,
The Remuera District Board,

and their Successors in Office to be the Local Authority under the said Act for their respective Districts.
