Auckland Provincial Government Gazette.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by "The Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866," I do hereby alter the definition of the limits of the City or Town of Auckland under the said Act, appointed and made by public notification under the hand of the then Superintendent, dated the 22nd day of March, 1866, and published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette of the same date; and I do hereby appoint that for the purposes of the said Act the limits of the City or Town of Auckland shall be the same as those of the Borough of the City of Auckland as defined in the First Schedule to "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867."

Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1876.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority in me vested by "The Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866," I do hereby appoint that, for the purposes of the said Act, the limits of the under-mentioned Districts, to which the said Act shall from and after this notification apply, shall be those set opposite their respective names in the Schedule hereunder contained.

Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1876.

  1. The PARNELL Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 12, dated 21st April, 1871, page 76.

  2. The GRAFTON ROAD Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 25, dated 16th July, 1872, page 214.

  3. The NEWMARKET Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 24, dated 14th June, 1876, page 254.

  4. The EDEN TERRACE Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 34, dated 29th June, 1875, page 374.

  5. The KARANGAHAPE Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 75, dated 4th October, 1869, page 1257.

  6. The ARCH HILL Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 17, dated 16th July, 1874, page 104.

  7. The NEWTON Highway District: the limits whereof shall be the same as those defined in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 17, dated 16th July, 1874, page 104.
