Notice under the Native Land Act, 1873, of Times and Places for Investigating Claims

NOTICE is hereby given, that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Uaua, Tologa Bay, on the 5th of June, next, and following days.

Hekiera Tataikoko, Petu Waiti, and Piripi Puoho Wai-Akuaku, near Waiapu Commences at Te Ahiorangi-tukua and goes on to Tawhaciwi, Te Ruatahataha, Taumataotemaneniorongo, Taumataokawa, Tutahiwinau, Taumatatatonga, Taumatapatera, and Rongopukaraka, then goes along in the Kopuaroa river to Mokoparae and Awarau, and thence along the beach to the commencement Survey Office, Gisborne, Poverty Bay.
Hoani Kohukoko, Ihaka Uki-uki, Wi Paratene, and others Kahikawaka, near Waiapu Commences at the Whakoau river and goes on to Poratata, Te Arawhati, Takangakura, Kahikawaka, Te Wairapukai, Titioataua, Te Wahanga, and the Mootu river, then goes along in that river to Maungawaru, where it turns and goes on to Takahia, Te Apiti, Te Kahakaha, and Te Mana river, and goes along in that river to the commencement Survey Office, Gisborne, Poverty Bay.
