In accordance with the 14th section of “The Education Act, 1872,” it is hereby notified that the boundaries of the following districts as described in Gazettes Nos. 18, 19, and 30 of 1873, have been amended by the Board of Education as follows.

The Okaihau Educational District.

Amended Boundaries.

Comprising all those lands included within the boundaries of the Okaihau block Nos. 1 and 2.

The Omaha Educational District.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the north by the sea, from the north-eastern angle of lot 79 of the parish of Omaha to Point Rodney; on the east by the sea and the harbour of Little Omaha, to the north head of the harbour of Whangateau; on the south by the harbour of Whangateau aforesaid, and the southern boundary of Dacre’s claim, thence by part of western boundary of said claim, by southern boundaries of lots 68 and 67, by part of the western boundary of said lot 67, by the southern boundary of lot 104, by part of the western boundary of said lot, and by the southern boundaries of lots 110 and 111 all of the parish of Omaha aforesaid; towards the west by the western boundaries of lots 111, 112, and 113 of the said parish; again towards the north by the northern boundaries of lots 113, 108, 102, 71A, 71, and 73 all of the said parish of Omaha; again towards the west by the eastern boundary of lot 92, and by part of the eastern boundary of lot 101 to the south-western angle of lot 87, thence by the southern boundary of last-named lot; again towards the west by the road forming the eastern boundary of said lot 87, and by the road forming the western boundary of lot 80; and towards the north-west by the northern boundary of last-named lot, and by the north-western boundary of lot 79 all of the parish of Omaha aforesaid to the place of commencement.
