This sum represents merely the expenditure charged against the Line in the Treasury Accounts during the month. There were advances outstanding at the end of the month to the amount of £5326 3s. 2d., chargeable when accounted for against the Line. The Line was also subject to charges for Railway Stores supplied, and for a share of the expenses of the Head Office.
