PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 7th April, 1876.

IT is hereby notified that the Chairman of the Te Puna District Board, under "The Highways Act, 1874," has reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of Messrs DAVID H. M. BILL and WILLIAM CHARLES STEWART as having been elected Auditors for that District for the current year.

IT is hereby notified that the several Chairmen of the after-named District Boards under "The Highways Act, 1874," have reported, in writing, to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons appointed as Fence-Viewers for those Districts respectively, in accordance with the provisions of "The Fencing Act, 1855, Amendment Act, 1874," namely:—

Manurewa:—Richard Simpson and Frederick Lawrie.

Te Puna:—Louis Bidois and William Fairfax Johnson.

NOTICE.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
NORTHERN DISTRICT.

Between WILLIAM HASKAYNE JONES, Trustee of the Estate and Effects of GEORGE THORNE, junior, trading as "JOHN ROBERTSON AND COMPANY," a Bankrupt, Plaintiff, and WILLIAM WHITAKER ARIELL, Defendant.

WHEREAS by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued herein, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the above-named defendant, William Whitaker Ariell, I should cause to be made the sum of twenty-two pounds sixteen shillings and sixpence, together with interest on the said sum at the rate of eight pounds per centum per annum, from the second day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, with costs of the said Writ and Warrant thereon, besides Sheriff’s poundage, officer’s fees, and other fees and expenses of execution. And whereas by virtue of another Writ of Fieri Facias issued herein, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the said defendant I should cause to be made the further sum of twenty-three pounds ten shillings and tenpence, together with interest on the said sum at the rate of eight pounds per centum per annum from the second day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, with costs of the said Writ and Warrant thereon, besides Sheriff’s poundage, officer’s fees, and other fees and expenses of execution.

Now, I, Henry Colin Balneavis, Sheriff of the District of Auckland, do hereby give notice that I shall cause to be sold by public auction by Richard Arthur, at his Auction Mart, Queen Street, Auckland, on the eighteenth day of May, 1876, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon, unless the said sums be sooner paid, the following property...

Between WALTER JAMES HILL, Plaintiff, and CLEMENT WITHERFORD, Defendant.

WHEREAS by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued herein, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the above-named Clement Witherford, I should cause to be made the sum of £37 6s. 6d., together with interest on the said sum at the rate of £8 per centum per annum, from the 5th day of March, 1876, together with £1 3s. 4d. for the said Writ, and warrant thereon, besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officer’s Fees, &c. Now I do hereby give notice than I shall cause to be sold by Public Auction by Richard Arthur, at his Auction Mart, Queen Street, Auckland, on the 30th day of June, 1876, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon, unless the said sum of £37 6s. 6d. and £1 3s. 4d. and interest be sooner paid besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officer’s Fees &c. All the Estate, Right, Title, and Interest of the said Clement Witherford, in and to all that piece or parcel of land in the colony of New Zealand, situated in the Parish of Waitemata, in the County of Eden, being lot No. 2, of section No. 2, of a sub-division of Suburban allotment No. 16 of section No. 6.

And I further give notice that the Estate or Interest of the said Clement Witherford, consists of his equity of the redemption in the said land, and that the said land and all the estates and interests of the said Clement Witherford therein, have been taken by me in Execution at the suit of the said W. J. Hill Execution Creditor.
