PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1874," I do hereby proclaim and declare that all those parcels of land described in the Schedule hereunder shall be open for bona fide occupation, under the provisions of the "Homestead system" of the said Act, on and after Thursday, the eleventh day of November, One thousand eight hundred and seventy five.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this eighth day of October, 1875.

SCHEDULE.

Mangonui District.

KAIAKA Block (northern and eastern portion), Parish of Kaiaka, County of Mangonui, 3,500 acres.

PATIKI Block (eastern portion), County of Mangonui, 1,900 acres.

OTENGUI Block (southern portion), Parish of Taipa, County of Mangonui, 1,000 acres.

Application for any of these lands must be made to Mr. Samuel Campbell, Land Surveyor, Town of Mangonui, with whom plans of the said blocks have been lodged for public inspection.

Bay of Islands and Hokianga Districts.

RUAPEKAPEKA Block (eastern portion), Parish of Ruapekapeka, County of Bedford, 8,000 acres.

KAWAKAWA-KAIPATIKI Block, Parish of Kawakawa, County of Hokianga, 2,000 acres.

MANGINANGINA Block (north-eastern portion), Parish of Manginangina, County of Hokianga, 3,500 acres.

PUKEAITANGA Block, County of Hokianga, 160 acres.

Applications for any of these lands must be made to Mr. R. A. Fairburn, Land Surveyor, Waimate, Bay of Islands, with whom plans of the said blocks have been lodged for public inspection.

Whangarei District.

OTAKAIRANGI Block (north-western portion), 1,500 acres.

OPUAWHANGA, No. 4 Block (southern portion), County of Bedford, 7,500 acres.

KAITARA, No. 2 Block (southern portion), County of Marsden, 3,000 acres.

Application for any of these lands must be made to Mr. J. J. Wilson, Land Surveyor, Whangarei, with whom plans of the said blocks have been lodged for public inspection.
