PROCLAMATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight
Commander of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Superintendent of
the Province of Auckland.
BY virtue of the powers in me vested by section 21 of "The Slaughter-house Act, 1866," I do hereby extend the provisions of section 8 of the said Act to the Town of RUSSELL, as hereunder defined:
Comprising all that part of the said Town, commencing from Mataui Bay, by Brindβs Road and Gould street, to the upper end of the Roman Catholic Burial Ground, then by the cut survey line to Mr. Batemanβs fence, along which to the Flagstaff, and thence down the stream to the watering place, whence by the beach to the starting point at Mataui Bay.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this sixth day of September, 1875.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight
Commander of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Superintendent of
the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by "The Impounding Act, 1867," I do hereby appoint those premises situated within the boundaries of the KARANGAHAPE Highway District, at the corner of Gundry and Lichfield-streets, Karangahape Road, Newton, to be, and be used, as a Public Pound, for the purposes of the said recited Act.
Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this third day of September, 1875.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by "The Impounding Act, 1867," I hereby appoint those premises situated within the boundaries of the HAMILTON WEST TOWNSHIP Highway District on the west bank of the river abutting on the Hamilton Ferry, to be and be used as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said recited Act.
Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this seventh day of September, 1875.
