PROCLAMATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled “An Act to Abate the Nuisances caused by Dogs” (Session I., No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the publication hereof the said Act shall come into operation within the District of Rangiaohia as constituted under “The Highways Act, 1874.”
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this third day of September, 1875.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled “An Act to Abate the Nuisances caused by Dogs” (Session I., No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the publication hereof the said Act shall come into force within the Tiki Highway District,
and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at the dwelling-house of Mr. Arthur Pittar, on the Tiki Road, on Monday, the 20th instant, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon; and Mr. Arthur Pittar to be Chairman of such Meeting.
Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this sixth day of September, 1875.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by section 72 of “The Highways Act, 1874,” I do hereby appoint the undermenioned persons to be the District Boards of the several Highway Districts under the said Act respectively set opposite their names for the ensuing Highway year, namely:—
MAUNGAKARAMEA:—Thomas Child, Charles Hayward, James Miller, Thomas O’Carroll, and Nicholas Phillips.
