THE WAITOA HIGHWAY DISTRICT,
Commencing at the confluence of the Piako and Waitoa rivers; bounded toward the north by a right line from the confluence of the Piako and Waitoa rivers aforesaid to the confluence of the Waihou or Thames river with the Ohinemuri river; towards the east by the Waihou or Thames river aforesaid to the termination of the north-western boundary of the Turanga-o-moana block; towards the south-east by a right line from the point last-named to the Waitoa river aforesaid at the termination of the south-eastern boundary of the Purewa block, thence southerly by the Waitoa river aforesaid to its confluence with the Mangapapa river, and by the Mangapapa river to the north-eastern boundary of Te Tapui block, thence by the north-eastern and western boundaries of Te Tapui block aforesaid and the north-western boundary of the Hinuvera block to the Waikato confiscation boundary line; towards the west by the Waikato confiscation boundary line aforesaid to the point of its intersection by the north-western boundary of the Hangawera Native block No. 2702; and towards the north-west by part of the north-western boundary of the said Hangawera block 2702, part of the western boundary of the Government purchase called Te Hangawera, the western and northern boundary of Te Awaroa block, and the northern boundary of the Mangakahika block to the Piako river aforesaid, and by the Piako river aforesaid to its confluence with the Waitoa river, the place of commencement.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
In pursuance of the fifteenth Section of “The Highways Act, 1874,” I do hereby bring the said Act into force within the Waitoa Highway District, and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at the dwelling-house of Mr. Ticklepenny, on the Kuranui block, on Saturday, the 7th August proximo, at one o’clock in the afternoon; and Major F. Nelson George, J.P., to be Chairman of such Meeting.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

Between Robert William Hammond, Plaintiff; and John Hamilton, Defendant.
Whereas, by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued in this action, and directed to me, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the above-named John Hamilton, I should cause to be made the sum of £207 9s. 6d., together with interest on the said sum at the rate of £8 per centum per annum from the 3rd day of March, 1875, together with £1 13s. 6d. for the said Writ, besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officers’ fees, &c.: Now I do hereby give notice that I shall cause to be sold by Public Auction, by Richard Arthur, at his Auction Mart, Queen street, Auckland, on the 9th day of September, 1875, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon, unless the sum of £21 9s. 6d., being the balance due under the said Writ, is sooner paid.
