PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

IN pursuance of section 8 of “The Waikoukou Road Act, 1874,” I do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall come into force on and after Wednesday, the 14th day of July, 1875.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, at Auckland, this ninth day of July, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 12th July, 1875.

IT is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Lease hereunder named, and the Lessee’s estate therein determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under sections 109, 110, 111, and 112, of “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1873.”

IT is hereby notified that a Writ, issued on the 9th ultimo, for the Election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of NEWTON, has been returned to this Office with a certificate endorsed thereon by the Returning Officer to the effect that

of Alten Road, Leaseholder, has been duly elected.
