PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 28rd March, 1874.

IT is hereby notified that the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed during the period commencing on Friday, the 3rd proximo, and ending on Tuesday following, the 7th proximo, both days inclusive, for the Easter Holidays.

PROCLAMATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

BY virtue of the powers in me vested under “The Protection of Animals Act, 1873,” I hereby proclaim and declare that Pheasants shall be open to be hunted, shot, taken or killed, within the Province of Auckland, during the months of May, June, and July in the present year.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-third day of March, 1874.

PROCLAMATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

BY virtue of the powers in me vested under “The Protection of Animals Act, 1873,” I hereby proclaim and declare that all the Native Game mentioned in the 5th schedule of the said Act, except Curlew, may be hunted, shot, taken or killed within the Province of Auckland, during the months of April, May, June, and July in the present year.

LICENSE UNDER “THE TIMBER FLOATING ACT, 1873.”

John Williamson, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, by virtue of the powers in me vested by “The Timber Floating Act, 1873,” and the requirements of the said Act having been duly complied with, do hereby license Captain James Smith, of Auckland, in the Province of Auckland, Merchant, to use the Kauaeranga River and its tributaries, near Shortland, in the said Province, for the purpose intended to be provided by the said Act.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this eighteenth day of March, 1874.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER, and in pursuance of the powers in me vested in that behalf by “The Impounding Act, 1867,” I do hereby abolish, as a Public Pound, those premises situated within the boundaries of the Hamilton East Township Highway District, on allotment No. 24, Hamilton East, and I do hereby appoint in lieu thereof those premises situated within the boundaries of the said district, erected on Public Reserve No. 177.
