Notice of Claim. (Section 36)

The Northern District.

To the District Officer, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Inspector of Surveys, and Native Reserves Commissioner, and to all others whom it may concern.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the persons named in the first column of the Schedule hereto, on behalf of themselves or the hapus mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule, have duly given notice that they claim to be interested in the pieces of land named and described in the third column of the said Schedule respectively; and that they desire that their respective claims should be investigated by the Native Land Court, in order that Memorials of Ownership may be issued for the same. And the said claimants admit the persons or hapus mentioned in the fourth column of the said Schedule to be also interested in the said land.

Hone Tuhirangi, Keepa Pu-ru, Ngatirahiri, Marino No. 2. Commences at the boundary of the Marino No. 1 block, and goes on to Te Herenga, then turns towards the south to the boundary of Rahurahutomokia, turns again and goes to the Marino swamp, turns here and goes on to the boundary of Raihara, and by that boundary to the commencement.

Katerina Te Awa, Ngatiwhakaeke, Te Herenga. The boundaries are shown on the map.
Kingi Hori Te Kawau, Hare Reweti Hukatere, Poharama Tautahi, Peri Te Huhu, Wiremu Tarapunga, Rutene Himi, Te Karaka, Rewini Taiuru, Te Warahi, Kingi Hori, Te Puaha, Haami, Takerei, Bonana, Hori, Wi Ripu, Hapakuku, Mereana, Raiha Tamaho, Mere Peka Te Rohu, Manukau. Bounded on the south by the Government boundary, on the east by Taumatamahoe, on the north-west by Tamatakaramu, on the west by Koroki, then turns and goes to Te Kumete, Te Ariuru, Te Epakauri, and Waiatua, thence to Okawau.
Hera Patu, Ngatipakau, Pakihiiti. Commences at the mouth of the Waimea river, and goes on to Kauerepahauhau on the old main road, then turns and goes along the edge of the forest to the Taraire river, turns again and goes along that river to the Waimea river, and by that river to its mouth.
Tia Pakeke, Te Tawiu Rarawa, Tautehere. Commences at Tautehere, and goes on to Te Rakauwhakakauohiotamatea, thence to Waipapa, and on to the Motuiti river, then turns and goes on to the commencement.
Komene Poakatahi, Wainatanui, Kumarau Rangatira. Commences at Te Punga, and goes on to Te Whataku and Taumataotangi, then turns towards ...
