PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS by an Act made and passed by the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council thereof, intituled "The Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866," it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may from time to time, by public notification in the Provincial Government Gazette, appoint and define the limits of cities, towns, and other places within the Province of Auckland, for the purposes of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Williamson, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, pursuant to the authority vested in me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that for the purposes of the said "Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866" (with the several amendments thereof), the limits of the Borough of the Thames, within the said Province, shall comprise the Borough of the Thames as the same is defined in the proclamation of His Excellency the Governor, dated the 5th day of November, 1873, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 65, dated the 6th day of November, 1873.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of August, 1874.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Municipal Police Act, 1866.
I do hereby appoint the Council of the Borough of the Thames, and their successors in office, to be the "Local Authority" referred to in the said Act for the Borough of the Thames.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of August, 1874.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the fourth clause of "The Auckland Impounding Act, 1867," I do hereby abolish as a Public Pound, those premises situated within the boundaries of the Waihou Highway District, known as Mr. William Henderson’s Stockyards, at the junction of the main and east roads in the said district, as notified in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 32, of date the 26th September, 1871: and I do hereby appoint in lieu thereof those premises situate within the boundaries of the said District, known as Mr Henry Henderson’s Stockyards, near the junction of the main and east roads in the said district, to be and be used as a Public Pound, for the purposes of the said recited Act.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of August, 1874.
