NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Onoke, Hokianga, on the 20th of August next, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

NAME OF CLAIMANT. NAME AND LOCALITY OF BLOCK. BOUNDARIES. Place where Plans will be deposited for public inspection.
Pene Karako, Hohapata Pairama, Taierua, Rihara Paengatahi, Makora, near Whangape, Bounded on the north by the Rotokakahi river, on the east by Native Land, on the south by Native Land, and on the west by the Pakianga block. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
Aporo Hura, Hapakuku, Hemi Te Kaka, Kaperiere Te Huhu, Raiha Tamaho, Wiremu Tarapunga, Mereana, Wi Te Take, Wikiripi, Tahuarau, Timotiu, Rea Poki, Te Uhiroa, near Herekino The boundaries are Ngakauan, Orowhana, Parangangaanga, and crossing over to Toperengarenga. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
Aporo Pungari, Otarabiko, near Mangamuka The boundaries are shown on the map. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
Heta Hamuera, and others, Rangipai, near Wiri naki, The boundary commences at Maunga on the Matau river, and goes on to Hawea, turns and goes on to Manuoha and Maropiupiu, then goes up to the Pukabikatea ridge and goes along that ridge to Taumata Kaipaipa, and Maramanui, turns and goes on to Pukenui, Whatau, and Tarakiha, and along the ridge to a plain called Maruwewehi, then turns and goes by the Whirinaki river to the Matau river, where it ends. Taniora Te Kowhai, Tai Haruru, near Omahere, Adjoining flag staff, south head, Hokianga river. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
William Walters, jun., Okereteke, near Kou tu Mangerio Bounded on the north by the Hokianga river and the Okereteke stream, on the south-east, and west by survey lines. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
Alexander Boyce, Te Karaka, near Te Matu, Lying on the Pupuwai creek near the Hokianga river, and adjoining block of land known as Te Ruaki, surveyed by Mr. John Campbell. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
Wi Tana Te Tai and Remi Te Tai, Wairoa, Hokianga. Bounded on the north by the Wairoa stream, on the west by the sea coast, on the south and east by survey lines. Native Lands Court Office, Onoke.
