NATIVE LANDS ACT, 1873.

Notice of Claim, (Section 36).

District of Kaipara.

To the District Officer, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Inspector of Surveys, and Native Reserve Commissioner, and all others whom it may concern.

NOTICE is hereby given that the persons named in the first column of the Schedule hereto, on behalf of themselves or the hapus mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule, have duly given notice that they claim to be interested in the pieces of land named and described in the third column of the said Schedule respectively, and that they desire that their respective claims should be investigated by the Native Lands Court, in order that Memorials of ownership may be issued for the same, and the said Claimants admit the persons or hapus mentioned in the fourth column of the said Schedule to be also interested in the said land.

Manihera Makoare Te Uriohau Tuaemokanoa.
The inland boundary is at Karepa; that towards the sea is at Karaka.
Te Hemara Tauhia, Hori Kingi Te Rurunga, Kaupapa, Te Waska Tuas, Te Aorere Hori Kingi, Herewini Nui, Hori Te More, Hemara Karawai, Arama Karaka, Karipa Ngatirongo Tuhirangi.
By the Makarau River on the South; on the East by a Government line, and on the North by Te Araparera River.
Te Otene Ngatiwhatua, and Ngungukauri Tuhirangi.
Commences at Whakarongopaku, and goes on to Kanaharoa, Upokoera, Whainui, Te Atua Taruke, Pakowhao, and Wharerima, turns at the Kakanui river, and goes on to Putona, Te Para-o-te-whaine, Kikomuri, and Mangemange, turns here and goes on to Te Tou-o-Rekereke, Pukeharakeke, Hokotore, Hikirau, Waiwhakawahewahe, Te Waikuaka and Poporeti, then falls into the Rurunga River, and meets at Whakarongopaku. Takerei, Te Rira Tawaewae, Te Para, Te Waru, Te Aomatohi, Rapana, Kiwara, Watikina, Pepene, Te Ngonga, and others.
Hirini, Pakinikihi, Tauran, Taurau Kukupa Ngatikaura, Ngasura Te Ahiaruara.
Commences at the Otaika River, Whangarei; commence at Ruarenga 3052, and goes up to Ngatungutukai Momote, thence turns 2861, and goes on to Mataukui, thence turns 2863, and goes on to Mail, turns again 2040 and strikes the Ataika river, Whangarei, then goes along in that river until it joins at Ruapuke.
Te Tirarau, Tipene Hari Pakikaikutu.
Bounded on the West by the Whangarei Harbour; on the South by Taiwhatiwhati; on the East by Te Kopuru, going along the boundary of the Pakena's land to Onikau, then goes into the Ruahine river and meets the boundary of the Government land at Tamatau, and on to the Whangarei Harbour.
