PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Office of the Board of Education,
Auckland, 15th April, 1874.

It is hereby notified that the Board of Education, under "The Education Act, 1872," have constituted the District hereinafter described to be an Educational District under the said Act, and have appointed the time and place of meeting for the election of the District School Committee as hereunder set forth.

Pakaru Educational District.

Commencing at the mouth of the Karetu River; thence by that River to the Waitemaringi Block; thence by that Block to its most Southern angle; thence by a line from the angle last named to the North-eastern angle of the Tirohanga Block; thence by a line running North from the angle last named to the Kawakawa River; thence by the Kawakawa River to the Karetu River.

Meeting for the election of School Committee at half-past five, p.m., on Saturday, 9th May, at Mr. Callaghan’s Hotel.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Office of the Board of Education,
Auckland, 15th April, 1874.

In accordance with the 14th Section of "The Education Act, 1872," it is hereby notified that the boundaries of the undermentioned Districts as described in the Gazettes of February 27, 1873, and of April 21, 1873, have been amended by the Board of Education as hereunder.

Kawakawa Educational District.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by surveyed lines of allotments, commencing at the South-western angle of lot 124, Kawakawa, to the Southern angle of lot 2, Kawakawa; towards the East by the road from lot 2 aforesaid, to the Kawakawa River; towards the South by the Kawakawa River, to the Western boundary of the Pakaru Educational District; towards the East by Western boundary of the said Pakaru District, from the Kawakawa River, to the North-eastern angle of the Tirohanga block; again towards the South by the Northern boundary of the block last named, and by the same produced in a Westerly direction to the Ruapekapeka block; and towards the West, South-west, and North-west by the Ruapekapeka and Kawakawa parishes, to the South-western angle of lot 124, Parish of Kawakawa, as aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Raglan Educational District.

Amended Boundaries.

Comprising all those lands situate within the boundaries proclaimed in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 22, dated the 17th April, 1868, and also all that parcel of land within the Karioi Highway District occupied by the Rev. Mr. Snackenberg, and known as the Wesleyan Mission Station.

Ruapuke Educational District.

Amended Boundaries.

Comprising all those lands situate within the boundaries of the Karioi Highway District, as proclaimed in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 43, of date 17th September, 1870, exclusive of all that parcel of land within the said District, occupied by the Rev. Mr. Schnackenberg, and known as the Wesleyan Mission Station.
