The Parawai Educational District.

Commencing at the confluence of the Hape Stream with the Kauaeranga River, thence along the Hape Stream to the Northern boundary of the Shortland Township Reserve, thence Easterly along said Northern boundary to the North-Eastern boundary of the Native Reserve, thence along North-Eastern boundary of the Native Reserve aforesaid to the Church Mission Land, thence along the North Western and North Eastern boundaries of the Church Mission Land aforesaid to the Waikiakia Creek, thence Southerly down said creek to the Gold Fields’ boundary line, thence along said Gold Fields’ boundary line to the Kiri Kiri stream, thence by the Kiri Kiri stream to the Thames River, thence by the Thames River to the mouth of the Kauaeranga River aforesaid, thence by the Kauaeranga River to the point of commencement.

Meeting for the election of District School Committee to be held at The Native Church, Parawai, on Monday, the 10th February, 1873, at 6 o’clock p.m.

The Waipipi Highway District.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North-East by the Waiuku Estuary and the Eastern side of the road which forms the Eastern boundary of the Village of Waiuku and which also forms the Western boundary of Allotment No. 4 of the Parish of Waiuku East to the Northernmost angle of Allotment No. 6 of the Parish of Waiuku East aforesaid, thence by the Western boundary of Allotment No. 6 aforesaid to the centre of the road at its Southernmost angle, thence by the centre of the road traversing Allotments 7, 11, and 12 of the Parish of Waiuku East aforesaid to its junction with the road at the Westernmost angle of Allotment No. 22, thence following the centre of the road which forms the South-Western boundary of Allotment No. 22 aforesaid and which also forms the South-Western boundary of Allotment No. 24 both of the Parish of Waiuku East aforesaid to the South-Eastern angle of the last-named lot, thence following part of the South-Eastern boundary of Allotment No. 24 of the Parish of Waiuku East aforesaid, the Western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 13 and 11 of the Suburbs of Purapura, the crossing of a road one hundred links wide and by the Southern side of the road which forms the Southern boundary of Allotment No. 11 of the Suburbs of Purapura aforesaid to the South-Western boundary of Allotment No. 10, thence by part of the South-Western boundary of Allotment No. 10 aforesaid, the Western and South-Western boundaries of Allotment No. 9 and the South-Western boundary of Allotment No. 8 all of Purapura aforesaid to the South-Eastern angle of Allotment No. 8 aforesaid thence by a right line being the production of the South-Eastern boundary of Allotment No. 8 last-named to the Awaroa River, and thence by the Awaroa River aforesaid to the Waikato River aforesaid to the sea towards the South-West by high water mark of the sea and towards the North-West by the South-Western boundaries of the Waitara special settlement to the Waiuku Estuary aforesaid, exclusive of all Townships or Villages within the before-mentioned boundaries.

The Coromandel Educational District.

Commencing from the mouth of Waiau River to its source, thence by a line North-East to a point half-a-mile distant from the Main Range, thence by a line parallel to the Main Range, thence by a line South-West to the head of Paul’s Creek, thence by Paul’s Creek to the sea, and thence by the sea coast to the point of commencement.

Meeting for the election of District School Committee to be held at the Coromandel Hall, Kapanga Road, on Saturday, the 15th February, at 4 o’clock p.m.

The Panmure Educational District.

Commencing at the seaward termination of the road which forms the northern boundary of Allotment No. 38 of the Parish of Waitemata, thence by that road to the road which forms the Eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 45 and 46 of said Parish, thence by the last described road to the North-Western angle of Allotment No. 28 of said Parish, thence by the Western boundary of Allotment No. 28 and the Western boundary of Allotment No. 33 to the road which forms the Northern boundary of Allotment No. 32 of the said Parish of Waitemata, thence by said last-mentioned road to the road which forms the Western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 41 and 48 of small lots near the village of Panmure, thence by the Southern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 48, 42, 47 and 46 of small lots near the village of Panmure aforesaid to the Panmure and Otahuhu Road, thence continuing along said road a distance of fifty chains to a right line bearing due East to the Tamaki River and by said line and the waters of the Tamaki River aforesaid and Pakuranga Creek to the road which forms the Eastern boundary of Allotment No. 30 of the Parish of Pakuranga, thence by said road to the road at the North-Eastern angle of Allotment No. 28 of said Parish of Pakuranga, thence Westerly and North-Westerly by said road to the nearest point of the Tamaki River and by the waters of said River to the point of commencement.

Meeting for election of District School Committee to be held at the Hall adjoining the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, Panmure, on Monday, the 10th February, 1873 at 7 o’clock p.m.

The Otahuhu Educational District.

Commencing on the Tamaki River at the Southern boundary of the Panmure Educational District, thence by said River to a point where the Tamaki

IT IS HEREBY notified that the Board of Education, under "The Education Act, 1872," have constituted the Districts hereinafter described, to be Educational Districts under the said Act, and have appointed times and places of meetings for the election of District School Committees for the said Educational Districts respectively, as hereunder set forth.
