PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

In pursuance of the 4th section of “The Sheep Act 1863 Amendment Act 1871,” I hereby fix the following Scale of Charges to be paid by the Owners of Sheep in respect of any examination held under the provisions of the said Act, namely,

For every Sheep—Sixpence.

Under and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the fourth section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby alter and amend the boundaries of the Ararimu North Highway District, as hereunder set forth.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this thirty-first day of January, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

The Ararimu North Highway District.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by the Kaukapakapa River from the westernmost point of allotment No. 21 of the Parish of Ararimu to the North-Eastern angle of allotment No. 306 of the Parish at Pukeatua towards the North-East by the Eastern and Southern boundaries of said lot No. 306 to the North-Western angle of allotment No. 308 of said Parish thence by the western boundary of last named lot No. 308 to its junction with the road at its South-Western angle thence by the road which forms the South-Eastern boundary of allotment No. 306 of the Parish of Pukeatua aforesaid to the North-Eastern angle of allotment No. 34 of the said Parish of Pukeatua thence following the North-Eastern boundary of allotment No. 34 last named and the North-Eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 33, 32, 31, and 30 to the road which forms the North-Western boundary of allotment No. 39 of the Parish of Pukeatua before named thence following the North-Western boundary of said allotment No. 39 to its Westernmost angle thence in a straight line crossing said road and continuing along the dividing line between the North-Eastern and the South-Western portions of allotment No. 39 aforesaid to the Western boundary of allotment No. 41 following said Western boundary of allotment No. 41 aforesaid to the road which forms its Southern boundary thence crossing said road to the North-Western angle of allotment No. 37, of the Parish of Pukeatua aforesaid thence continuing along the boundary of said lot to its South-Western angle thence by a line to the North-Western angle of allotment No. 22 of the Parish of Pukeatua thence by a right line in a Southerly direction to the place of commencement.

Bounded towards the South by the Southern boundary of allotment No. 59 and by last named boundary of said lot, to its South-Western angle towards the South-West by the Western boundaries of allotments Nos. 59 aforesaid and 58 of the Parish of Ararimu to the Southern boundary of the Kaukapakapa South Block thence by the Southern and South-western boundaries of said block to the road which forms part of the Western boundaries of allotments Nos. 26 and 20 of the Parish of Ararimu aforesaid thence by said road to the Southern boundary of allotment No. 21 and by said Southern boundary to the Kaukapakapa River aforesaid the place of commencement.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the fourth section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby notify that, from and after the date hereof, all that portion of the Province of Auckland hereunder described shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name of The Rangitopuni Highway District.

The Rangitopuni Highway District.

Bounded towards the North by the Southern boundary of the Parish of Pukeatua from the South-Western angle of allotment No. 22 of the last named Parish to the North-Western angle of allotment No. 77 of the Parish of Paremoremo, towards the East by the Western boundaries of allotments Nos. 77 and 78 of the Parish of Paremoremo aforesaid and part of the Eastern and the whole of the Southern boundaries of allotment No. 57 of said Parish to the Rangitopuni Creek thence by said Creek to the Waitati stream and by said stream to the Easternmost angle of allotment No. 55 of the Parish of Paremoremo towards the South and South-West by the Northern boundary of allotment No. 55 aforesaid and by said boundary produced in a straight line to the North-Eastern angle of allotment No. 53 following the North-Eastern boundary of said allotment No. 53 to the Ararimu River thence Northward by the Ararimu River aforesaid to the South-Western boundary of allotment No. 41 of the Parish of Paremoremo aforesaid thence by the Southern boundary of allotment No. 59 of the Parish last named, and towards the West by the Southern boundary of allotment No. 59 aforesaid to the road which forms the South-Western boundary of allotment No. 55 also of said Parish thence by the centre of said road to the North-Western boundary of said allotment No. 55 thence by the North-Western boundaries of allotments Nos. 55 and 54 of the Parish of Ararimu aforesaid to the South-Western angle of the last named lot and by a right line Northerly to the South-Western angle of allotment No. 22 of the Parish of Pukeatua by a right line in a Southerly direction to the place of commencement.
