IT is hereby notified that the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed on Wednesday, the 12th instant, in commemoration of the Birth-day of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.

Phillips, of Raglan, for permission to use for mill driving purposes, the vicinal water flowing through allotment number 15 of the Parish of Kawhia, together with the right to construct a Dam thereupon.

Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, having this day taken into consideration the Order made by the Te Awamutu Highway District Board (and all objections made thereto) for taking a Road from the South-West corner of the School Estate, at the corner known as Colebrooke’s, to the Repongaere Ford on the Waipa River, do hereby, by virtue of the powers conferred on me by section 33 of “The Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871,” confirm the said Order without variation.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
