PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 28th October, 1873.

IN pursuance of the 20th Section of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” it is hereby notified for general information that application has been made to me by Mr. James H. Phillips, of Raglan,
for permission to use for mill driving purposes, the water flowing through allotment number 15 of the Parish of Karioi, together with the right to construct a dam thereupon.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” I hereby notify, for public information, that all those pieces or parcels of land, enumerated in the Schedule hereunder, will be offered for sale by Public Auction, as Suburban Lands.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this thirtieth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

CONDITIONS OF SALE.

  1. The land will be sold in lots, by auction, to the highest bidder. In case of doubt as to the highest bidder for any lot, or in case the person to whom a lot has been knocked down shall fail to make the deposit hereinafter mentioned, the lot will be at once put up again.

  2. The purchase money of any allotment shall be paid as follows, viz.:—One-fourth at the time of sale by way of deposit, and the remaining three-fourths within one calendar month after the sale. In the event of the second payment not being made within the said period of one calendar month, the sale shall be void and the deposit forfeited.

  3. Any lot may be withdrawn at any time before it is put up.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1871,” that certified copies of the Assessment Lists for the Devonport and Maketu Highway Districts respectively, have been forwarded to this Office.

I DO HEREBY notify, by virtue of clause 52 of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” that all that piece or parcel of General Country Land, containing Manganese, hereinafter mentioned, will be offered for Sale by Public Auction, by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, at the Waste Lands Office, at Auckland, on Wednesday, the 3rd day of December, 1873, at the hour of 12 o’clock, noon.
