REGULATION (No. 11).

REGULATION FOR HAWKERS.

REGULATION of the Council of the City of Auckland made under Special Order of the said Council dated the sixteenth day of December 1872 confirmed the twentieth day of January 1873 and sealed with the Common Seal of the Council of the said City the twentieth day of January 1873.

In pursuance of The Municipal Corporations Act 1867 Schedule 13 Part X Subdivision 4 Section 88 the Council of the City of Auckland maketh the following Regulation that is to say

Every Licensed Pedlar or Hawker shall when hawking within the limits of the City be required to have affixed on some conspicuous place on the exterior of his or her Cart Dray Barrow Basket or other vehicle a board or plate (to be supplied by the City Council) having the words "Licensed Hawker No. ___" legibly painted thereon and no licensed Pedlar or Hawker shall part with or transfer the said Board or Plate to any person whomsoever.

Passed by the said Council this twentieth day of January, Anno Domini One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
