THE undermentioned allotment will, on Tuesday, the twenty-first day of October next, at twelve o’clock, noon, at Messrs. Samuel Cochran and Son’s Auction Mart, Fort Street, Auckland, be offered for Lease, subject to the conditions hereunder specified.

1. The allotment will be leased for a term of nineteen years.
2. Possession of the same will be delivered on, and the tenancy thereof will date from the 22nd day of October next.

HEREBY notify that the respective Chairmen of the after-named District Boards under "The Highways Act, 1871," have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons elected as Members of the said District Boards respectively, for the ensuing Highway year; namely:--

• WHAU: John Bollard, Chairman; Thomas Barraclough, Thomas Sansom, John Aickin, and James P. Sinclair.
• MONGONUI TOWNSHIP: J. Macintosh, Chairman; C. Waddingham, William Butler, jun., J. Foubister, and J. D. Gordon.
• NEWCASTLE: Major Thomas Wilson, Chairman; T. V. Fitzpatrick, John Bycroft, Arthur Dawson, and Henry Byron.

Comprising all those lands included within the Wangaroa North Highway District.

Meeting for Election of School Committee, at School House, on Thursday, 11th September, at 12 o’clock.

THE KAUKAPAKAPA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Comprising the Kaikai, the Kaukapakapa South, the Waikahikatea, and the Matawhero Block, and also all that portion of the Kaukapakapa North Block not included in the Wainui Educational District.

Meeting on Saturday, the 21st September, at the School House, at 2 o’clock.
