PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent's Office,
Auckland, 7th July, 1873.

IN pursuance of the 20th section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1870," it is hereby notified for general information that application has been made to me by

Mr. EDWARD CONSTABLE,

for permission to use, for mill-driving purposes, the water flowing through allotments Numbers 11 and 12 of the Parish of Waiauku East, together with the right to construct a Dam thereupon.

PROCLAMATION.

By Joseph May, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled "An Act to Abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs," (Session I, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the publication hereof the said Act shall come into operation within the District of

Waiuku.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, at Auckland, this twenty-seventh day of August, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

BY virtue of the powers in the Superintendent vested by "The Thistle Act, 1858," I do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall forthwith come into operation within the Mount Eden Highway District, according to the limits thereof already defined; and by virtue of the powers in the Superintendent vested by "The Highways Act, 1871," I do hereby delegate to the District Board of the said District the powers and
