REGULATION (No. 16).
REGULATIONS FOR CITY STAGE CARRIAGES.
REGULATION of the Council of the City of Auckland made under special order of the said Council, dated the thirtieth day of June, 1873, confirmed and sealed with the Common Seal of the said Council, the 11th day of August, 1873.
In pursuance of the Municipal Corporations’ Act, 1867, schedule 13, part 10, subdivision 1, section 48, the Council of the City of Auckland make the following regulations, that is to say—

Section 9 of the Regulation for carriages passed by the City Council on the 1st November, 1871, is hereby repealed.

From and after the date of this Regulation coming into operation, licensed City stage carriages shall start and run as follows:—
Grafton Road.
Daily at 8 a.m. and every hour till 2 p.m. inclusive. At 2:30 p.m. and every half hour until 7 p.m.
Fare, sixpence.
To Parnell and Newmarket.
Daily at 8 a.m. and every half hour until 6:30 p.m.
Fare, sixpence.
To Ponsonby and Newton.
Daily at 9 a.m. and every twenty minutes until 7 p.m.
Fare, sixpence.
After the hours named none of these City stage carriages will run regularly, and the Fares will be double.
To Remuera.
From the Post Office, daily at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. in summer, and at 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in winter, also on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 1 p.m.
Fare, one shilling.
Passed by the said Council this eleventh day of August, Anno Domini, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1871,” that certified copies of the Assessment Lists for the KARANGATAPE, TAIAHERE, GRAFTON ROAD, WAIUKU, WAITAKERE EAST, MATAKANA EAST, EASTERN MAKURANGI, WANGANUI, KAURIHOHORI, OTAHUHU, and PUKEKOHE WEST, Highway Districts respectively, have been forwarded to this Office.
