TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon of Monday, the 23rd instant, for the under-mentioned Supplies for the Provincial Government, during the period of six months, commencing on the 1st July proximo.

  1. Rations for Mount Eden Gaol.
  2. Rations for Auckland Lock-up.
  3. Prison and Police Supplies.
  4. Provisions for Provincial Hospital.
  5. Provisions for Old Men’s Refuge.
  6. Provisions for Provincial Lunatic Asylum.
  7. Bread for Hospital and Old Men’s Refuge.
  8. Meat for Hospital and Old Men’s Refuge.
  9. Bread for Lunatic Asylum.
  10. Meat for Lunatic Asylum.
  11. Rations for Sick and Destitute Persons.
  12. Coals.
  13. Firewood.

PROCLAMATION.

BY THE AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD FOR THE PORT OF AUCKLAND.

IN pursuance of the powers and authority vested in the Auckland Harbour Board, the limits and boundaries of the undermentioned Wharf for the purposes of “The Marine Act, 1867,” are hereby defined, that is to say

MECHANICS’ BAY WHARF,

Bounded on the North-East by the Breakwater at St. Barnabas Point, on the North-West by land between high and low water mark and the waters of Auckland Harbour, and on the South and East by that portion of the Wharf Road situate between the before-mentioned Breakwater on the North and the Mill culvert on the South.

Given at Auckland under the Common Seal of the Auckland Harbour Board, the Twenty-ninth day of May, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
