PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the fourth section of "The Highways Act, 1871," I do hereby alter and amend the boundaries of the Puhoi Highway District, as hereunder set forth.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this sixth day of June. One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

The Puhoi Highway District.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by the Southern boundary of the lower Mahurangi Highway District; towards the East by high-water mark of the sea from the Pukapuka River to the Waiwera River; towards the South by the Waiwera River aforesaid and the in the place and stead of Northern boundary of the Wainui Highway District; and towards the West by part of the Eastern boundary of the Parish of Makarau to the Southern boundary of the Lower Mahurangi District aforesaid the place of commencement.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the fourth section of "The Highways Act, 1871," I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at the School-house, Puhoi, on Wednesday, the 2nd day of July proximo, at twelve o'clock, noon, and Mr. Charles Krohn to be Chairman of such Meeting.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 4th June, 1873.

HEREBY notify that, in pursuance of the seventh section of "The Highways Act, Amendment Act, 1871," I have appointed Mr. Mark Rawlings to be an Auditor for the Parnell Highway District, in the place and stead of Mr. Thomas Joseph Waters, resigned.

IN pursuance of the fifth section of "The Highways Act, 1871," I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the Puhoi Highway District.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this sixth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

HEREBY notify that I have this day appointed Constable Martin Grace, of the Armed Constabulary, stationed at Graham's Town, to be a Collector of Rates.
