LICENSES to Kill and Sell Game
Licenses to Kill and Sell Game are now declared that the said Act shall come into force on and issuable at the Superintendentโs Office, after the first day of May, 1873.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, at Auckland, this twenty-fourth day of April, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

The Season for Killing Game extends over the months of May and June only.
Licenses to Sell Game are in force until the 7th of July only.
No Shilling Licenses are issued under the new Act; but any person in bona fide occupation of any land, not being Waste Lands of the Crown, (or some one person appointed by him) may kill Game on such land without a License.
Every person who shall sell, offer for sale, or expose for sale, and every holder of a License to sell Game, who shall have in his possession, or shall in any manner dispose of, any dead hen pheasant or any dead tui, shall, on conviction, forfeit and pay for every such act a sum not exceeding Twenty Pounds; and if such person hold a License to Kill or Sell Game, such License shall, on conviction, become ipso facto void.
PROCLAMATION.
By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
In virtue of the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent under the 11th Section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867," I do hereby temporarily reserve for a Ferry Station and a Public Landing Place, until the next Session of the Auckland Provincial Council, all that piece or parcel of land situate on the North side of the mouth of the Orewa River, containing 10 acres, and being Allotment No. 238 of the Parish of Waiwera, County of Marsden.
