HAURAKI GOLD MINING DISTRICT.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 22nd March, 1873.

IT is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessors upon the ground demised by the Leases hereunder named, and the Lessees’ estates therein respectively determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under sections 53, 54, and 55 of “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871.”

I HEREBY notify that I have appointed Charles Kemphorne Roskruge, Esquire, to inspect all cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, and other things, the importation of which is prohibited by Order in Council of the 27th February, 1873, under “The Customs Regulation Act, 1858.”

I DO HEREBY notify that the Russell District Board has, with my approval, appointed James Donavid, to be keeper of the Public Pound at Russell, in the perches, 18 men’s ground, situated on Shell-back Creek adjoining the “Bona Venture” and “John O’Groats” Claims; lease dated 15th January 1872.

John Kenyon; 15 years’ lease of 6 acres and 4 perches.
