Meeting for the election of District School Committee at the School House on Monday, the 17th instant, at 2 p.m.
OTARA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by the Pakuranga Creek and by the Road which forms part of the Western boundary of allotment No. 33, and the preceding ten pounds. Northern boundaries of allotments Nos. 39, and 102 of the Parish of Pakuranga: towards the East by the road which forms the Eastern boundary of said allotment No. 102, and by said road continued to the South-Eastern angle of allotment No. 32 of said Parish; towards the South-East by part of the Northern and the whole of the North-Western boundary of Clendon’s Grant to the Manukau Harbour; towards the South-West by the Manukau Harbour aforesaid to the road which forms the Western boundary of allotment No. 53 of the Parish of Manurewa; and towards the North-West by said road and by the road which forms the Western boundaries of allotments Nos. 48, 54, and 55 of said Parish to the Tamaki River, and by said river to the Pakuranga Creek before named.
Meeting for the Election of District School Committee to be held at the School House, on Wednesday, 12th March, at 4 o’clock.
TYK PAKURANGA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Commencing at the Northernmost point of the School Reserve at the Eastern head at the entrance to the Tamaki River, thence by high water mark of the seaward termination of the road at Mellon’s Bay, thence Westerly and Southerly by said road (which traverses Section No. 10 of small lots near the village of Howick, and also forms the Eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 73, 79, 27, 38, 94 and 95 of the Parish of Pakuranga) to the South-Eastern angle of allotment No. 95 of the Parish of Pakuranga aforesaid, thence by the Southern boundaries of allotments Nos. 95, 34, and 33 and part of the Western boundary of allotment No. 33 of the Parish aforesaid to the Pakuranga Creek and by said Creek to the road at the South-Western boundary of allotment No. 31 also of said Parish, thence Northerly by said road to the North-Eastern angle of allotment No. 28 of the Parish of Pakuranga by Howick Street aforesaid, thence Westerly for a distance of about three quarters of a mile along the road which forms the Southern boundary of allotment No. 24 of the last named Parish and thence Northerly by a branch of said road to the nearest point of the Tamaki River and Officers’ fees, &c.; All the Estate, Right, Title, and Interest of the said Wiremu Haronga of, in, and to all that parcel of land in the Province of Auckland, at Poverty Bay, containing by admeasurement seven hundred and thirty acres, more or less, and being called or known by the name of Matawhero “B” Block, and in all that parcel of land situated at Poverty Bay aforesaid, containing by admeasurement two hundred acres or thereabouts, and being called or known by the name of the Whatanpoko Block.
BYE-LAW
Adopted by the Auckland Harbour Board, at a Meeting held on Tuesday, the 25th day of February, 1873.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in the Auckland Harbour Board, the said Board do hereby make the following Regulations or Bye-laws, and do declare that the same shall come into operation and take effect on and after the first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

Section 65 of the Harbour and Quarantine Regulations made by Order in Council at the Government House, Wellington on the twenty-fifth day of June one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight shall not apply to vehicles drawn by horses in double harness on the Queen-street Wharf at the City of Auckland.

Any person in charge of a vehicle drawn by horses in double harness upon the said Wharf shall not leave the driver’s seat during the time the vehicle is in motion and shall not drive at a faster pace than a walk and any person acting contrary to this regulation shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding ten pounds.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Office of the Collector, Mr. Herbert Ashton, No. 31, New Zealand Insurance Buildings, is the place appointed at which the rates for the above District are to be paid.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.
NORTHERN DISTRICT.
Between George Edward Read, Plaintiff; and Wiremu Haronga, Defendant.
WHEREAS by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued in this action, and directed to me, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the above-named Wiremu Haronga I should cause to be made the sum of Fifty-five Pounds Five Shillings, together with interest on the said sum at the rate of Eight Pounds per centum per annum from the 24th day of January, 1872, together with £1 13s 4d for poundage, Officers’ fees, &c.: Now I do hereby give notice that I shall cause to be sold by Public Auction, by Mr. Richard Reynolds, at his Auction Mart, Queen-street, Auckland, on the 30th day of April, 1873, at the hour of twelve o’clock noon, unless the said debt and interest be sooner paid, together with the sum of £1 13s 4d, besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officers’ fees, &c.: All the Estate, Right, Title, and Interest of the said Wiremu Haronga of, in, and to all that parcel of land in the Province of Auckland, containing by admeasurement seven hundred and thirty acres, more or less, and being called or known by the name of Matawhero “B” Block, and in all that parcel of land situated at Poverty Bay aforesaid, containing by admeasurement two hundred acres, more or less, and being called or known by the name of the Whatanpoko Block.
