NOTIFICATION.

IT is hereby notified that the application for a mining lease set forth in the Schedule hereunder has been withdrawn.

SCHEDULE.

The King’s Hill Gold Mining Company, to be registered, applied for by Charles W. Hall; 10 years’ lease of 10 acres, situated on the Tokatea Range, adjoining the “Waverley” lease; ground not held under Miners’ Rights; application dated 26th October, 1871; withdrawn 15th February, 1872.

Under and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the fourth Section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby alter and amend the boundaries of the Newcastle Highway District as hereinafter set forth.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this nineteenth day of March, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

THE NEWCASTLE HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

AMENDED BOUNDARIES.

Bounded towards the southern boundary of allotment No. 15 of the parish of Pepepe, and by the Tutaikohea creek to the Waikato river; towards the north-east by the centre of the Waikato river from the Tutaikohea creek aforesaid, to the north-western boundary of the parish of Pukete; towards the south-east by part of the north-western boundary of the parish of Pukete aforesaid from the Waikato river before-mentioned to the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundary of allotment No. 91 of the parish of Horotiu; again towards the north-east by the centre of the last-named road, and by the centre of the road which forms part of the northern boundary of allotment No. 146, and the whole of the northern boundary of allotment No. 147 of the parish of Pukete, and by said road continued south-easterly to the north-eastern angle of allotment No. 90 of the parish last named, thence easterly by the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundary of allotment No. 90 aforesaid, the eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 91, 93, 94 and 96, to the northern boundary of the parish of Tuhikaramea; towards the south by the centre of the road which forms the northern boundary of the parish of Tuhikaramea aforesaid, to the north-eastern angle of allotment No. 82 of the parish of Tuhikaramea; towards the east by the eastern boundary of allotment No. 82 last mentioned, and the eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 83, 84, 85 and 86, to the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 67, 66, 54 and 55 of the parish aforesaid, and by the centre of said road last described to its junction.
